John DiTomaso is currently Director of Instrumental Music at Pentucket Regional Schools where he directs Middle and High School Band and Chamber Ensembles. After completing academic studies at UMass-Lowell he continued his conducting and composing work, while performing on trumpet, piano, and voice in a wide variety of professional settings. Mr. DiTomaso's work in religious settings has traversed faith, as arranger and performer most recently for St. Mary's in Melrose, Ma and in the past for the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Grafton, Ma. He has also performed with and arranged music for professional performing groups and soloists including Blues You Can Use, Madhouse, Shine, the Tony Gallo Group and the Jazz Passion Quartet. Mr. DiTomaso has conducted a variety of choral groups, including professional, public school, community and church choirs. He has served as clinician, lecturer and guest conductor at workshops and seminars in New England. He is current completing a Masters degree in Music Education at Boston University. He is also a proud member of the National Music Educators Association and the Massachusetts Music Educators Association. |
